The BE THE CHANGE® brand is manufactured by Swiss Health & Nutrition AG under the premise of sustainable Swiss quality. SHN AG is certified by bio.inspecta and is inspected annually. (Certificate: BVH‑42517).
For over 2 years, bio.inspecta AG has been offering controls and certifications for organic and label products as well as ISO standards and food safety in the areas of agriculture, processing and trade, as well as international standards. Every year, the independent company carries out over 38,000 audits for a total of 25,000 national and international customers, making it one of the leading certification bodies in Switzerland. We generate or source practically all of our ingredients organically. If something is not yet of organic quality, or does not yet meet our premium standard, then as an exception we do not use organic ingredients of the best quality. The organic certificate shows products that are 100% organic down to the last ingredient. This means that also in BE THE CHANGE products without
Organic label, there's a lot of organic in it.
In contrast to Made in Switzerland, Swiss made is subject to the Swissness legislation of the Swiss federal government. This guarantees, among other things, that we almost exclusively use local, high-quality ingredients and that we also manufacture our products in Switzerland. This means we have short transport routes from our farmers to production and thereby ensure the quality of the food, but also that of the Swiss working world.
Since 2017, in accordance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Trademarks and Indications of Origin, a product or service may be described as “Swiss made” under the following conditions:
The processing and manufacturing of BE THE CHANGE products takes place entirely, i.e. 100%, in Switzerland.
The Cologne List® is an initiative for doping prevention. It lists nutritional supplements (NEM) that have been tested for selected doping substances by a leading laboratory in the world in NEM analysis. The products from the BE THE CHANGE lines Swiss Sports®, Swiss Essentials® and Swiss Micelle® were tested for selected doping substances as part of the Cologne List® - without any complaints. As a partner of the Cologne List®, we ensure greater transparency and support athletes, teams, clubs and associations in assessing products.

The veterinary control number, or veterinary number for short, is a mandatory declaration from the production site that can be found on all products of animal origin throughout the EU. The veterinary control number is the essential part of the health mark. In Switzerland, the equivalent control number is called the permit number.
